An Inviting Escape

We had a vision. A vision to bring a unique and much needed Wedding and Events Venue to the Plattsburgh, NY Community but in an area that would be well suited for our vision. Nestled down a woodsy, curvy road about an eighth of a mile down the Kelly Rd off of Military Turnpike landed our perfect spot. This property actually extends straight back from my childhood home on the Irish Settlement Rd. We have always had the property, my dad uses it for logging, storage, fill and much more but there was always the thought to invest in this part of our land and do something more with it.

I went out to College in Florida and after I graduated landed a job at an amazing golf resort called Streamsong. I joined the Banquet and Events department and soon found my love and enjoyment in the Wedding and Events industry! I wanted to do more than just be a part of a team. Even though I loved my job and everyone I worked with I wanted to create something that I felt would be great in the area we live in. I so often caught myself taking the Adirondacks for granted and had the perfect thought to develop my love and passion into something of my own to share with others. I also knew that being in the service/hospitality industry for 10+ years I wanted to be in a position to say yes to most anything a client may need or request.

With the help of my Dad who has an extreme background in carpentry and construction we created our dream project of Rustic Pines! A 60x120 Post and beam Barn Venue with a rustic yet a twist of modern spiced in. My Dad and also have a LOVE for finding cool antiques, decor and much more. We wanted to incorporate a lot of our finds into this venue but we also had the thought that not everyone's style is the same. So, why not create a decor shed for all types of styles/ themes for our clients to sift through and use whatever they wish to dress up THEIR venue! This then evolved into our "Your blank canvas awaits...." Slogan.

We are so excited to keep adding to our vast variety of eclectic decor/prop inventory. We have everything ranging from table center pieces to old truck beds, tractors wine barrels and more! and if you are looking for anything specific we will go on the hunt to try and get it for you. .
